Brian Startare - Nights + Weekends on 610 WIP

Brian Startare has been at WIP since February 2005. He currently hosts shows on nights and weekends at the station and is the weekend host for Philadelphia Flyers hockey. For the past two summers, Brian has been the Eagles Training Camp Reporter at Lehigh University. This past fall he was the host of The Football Show that aired live on Saturday mornings from 7-10.
Startare, a graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, first performed sports updates for the station in 2005, occasionally working with The Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi, serving as a reporter for such events as Wing Bowl, Miss WIP, and other general field assignments.
Brian is also a contributor for CN8's "Out of Bounds" program shown nightly at 11 pm in Philadelphia. He is also the Public Address Announcer for the men's basketball program at Saint Joseph's University.
Startare, born in Philadelphia, and residing in South Jersey, is a life long fan of Philly sports, having had season tickets to the Phillies and Flyers, and has owned season tickets to the Eagles for the past 19 years.
Startare calls his job at WIP the greatest in the world..."I consider myself very fortunate to talk sports for a living with the greatest fans on Earth. I, along with you, await the day until the bitter agony ends and we all have that big party on Broad St."
